Accommodations and Meals

We always make sure that our customers get the right value for their money. Therefore, we always attempt to make some of the best arrangements for our customers. To ensure a comfortable stay, we book tourist standard hotel in Kathmandu before and after your trek.

Normally, the rooms are twin share, where you will have to share your room with another member of your group. However, this totally depends on the size of your group and the availability of rooms in the hotel. On request, triple share can also be arranged. Moreover, if you are looking for a single supplement room, extra charges will be applied. During the trek, your stay is arranged in a local guesthouse or lodges with shared amenities. You can also enjoy hot shower in these lodges. In the absence of shower few buckets of hot water can also be arranged on request. A full board meal (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and tea &coffee) will be provided from the teahouse menu during the entire trek. Usually, porridge, toast or chapattis, oatmeal and local bread are served for breakfast. The food served for lunch and dinner are simply great.

Best Seasons

Though Nepal can be visited any time of the year, the best season to plan your trek in the Annapurna region of Nepal is spring and autumn.

Spring – March, April and May are considered the best month to pay your visit to the Annapurna region because during these months you can experience the warm weather, clear skies, good temperature and the best visibility.

Autumn – Mid September, October and November is also considered the best month to visit the Annapurna region because of the best visibility, clear blue skies and excellent trail.

Winter – December, January and February are good, if you can prepare yourself to experience the extreme cold weather.

Summer – Mid June, July and August are not considered as the right time to visit the Annapurna range as the monsoon rain affects everything that is, trail, weather, temperature as well as the visibility.

Important Note:

Due to unpredictable weather conditions in the Himalayas, there may be unforeseen schedule changes in domestic flights to Lukla and from Lukla. The flights may be delayed for several hours or pushed back by a day or more, depending on the circumstances. Although this is rare, it can happen even during the best trekking seasons. As you know, high altitude weather conditions can be difficult to predict. Therefore, we strongly suggest that you plan for this by allowing for an extra day or two in Nepal after your trek, if possible. This will help ensure that you have some flexibility with regard to your trek. On the other hand, if everything goes according to plan, you will have time to enjoy other activities such as rafting, wildlife viewing, shopping, or just relaxing after your adventure.

*Another option (in case of flight delay/cancellation) is to take a helicopter to/from Lukla. If you choose to go this route, we can arrange everything upon request.
