We stay overnight in Tikhedhunga.

Day starts with the steep uphill of Ulleri 1,960m through thousands of stone staircase and arrives at Banthati which is a perfect lunch place before moving forward to Ghorepani through Rhododendron forest. As we have gained remarkable height, day becomes colder after the lunch. After passing few tea houses at upper Banthati, trail further climbs up and arrives in lower Ghorepani. Upper Ghorepani is better place for staying which has greater view of mountains and the Kali Gandaki Valley on the other side of the hill.
Before sunrise we walk up to Poonhill, 50 minutes hike, with our necessary equipments like torch light and warm clothes as mornings are too much dark and the weather will be cold. The trail goes steep downhill from left side of the village through forest, fields and several tea houses until a steel suspension bridge over a small stream and climbs up to Gurung Village with several houses scattered on the green farm. After eating lunch around the last stop of the village, we further walk through forest and fields with slightly uphill trail and pass through several houses and arrive at beginning of Chomrong village, further 20 minutes walk brings you to the main Chomrong village which is the largest settlement in this route. After having breakfast we start our trek passing through the bamboo forest and then ascend steadily up with fewer steep sections. Only after reaching Himalaya Hotel that the forest opens up and we are out in the sun again with amazing views of the glacial river below. It is a steep climb up through a much drier forest before reaching Hinku Cave. From here we can see the trail drop closer to the river before climbing again to Deurali, the most scenic stretch of the day. The vegetation is sparser, allowing magical views of the valley, the river below, and the sheer rock face cliffs above with bands of wispy waterfalls as well the white face monkey (Himalayan Lagur). Overnight in Deurali.

We end our adventure with a farewell dinner in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu.
The journey within the mountains of Nepal comes to an end today. There is nothing to do but we just trade emails to travel companions and organize our photos. If we have more time we can do some shopping or sightseeing. At last approximately 3 hours before our scheduled flight, a representative from A One Treks escorts us to the airport.
